TrueDraftTerms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the TrueDraft website, iOS app, keyboard extension, share extension, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What TrueDraft does
TrueDraft provides writing suggestions and observations based on content you choose to submit. Output may be incomplete or wrong and cannot know another person’s intent. It is not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, safety, or emergency advice. You decide what to edit and send and remain responsible for your communications.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account and device secure. Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, discriminate, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, upload unlawful content, probe or disrupt the Service, evade limits, or automate access without permission. We may restrict or suspend misuse and will use proportionate measures where practical.
3. Your content and permission to process it
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give TrueDraft a limited permission to host, transmit, analyze, and transform that content only to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to submit the content, including conversation content involving other people.
4. AI output
Suggestions are generated probabilistically and are not guaranteed to be unique, accurate, or suitable. Review every suggestion before using it. Do not rely on the Service for emergencies or high-impact decisions.
5. Subscriptions and renewal
If a paid plan is offered, its price, billing period, automatic-renewal terms, trial terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown immediately before purchase. App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple under your Apple account. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, an App Store subscription may renew automatically at the disclosed price. You can cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; cancellation remains effective through the paid period. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
6. TrueDraft intellectual property
The Service, brand, design, software, and non-user content are owned by TrueDraft or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service, not ownership of it.
7. Copyright notices
Send a copyright notice to copyright@truedraft.me with identification of the work and material, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement under penalty of perjury, and a physical or electronic signature. Registration of a designated DMCA agent is tracked separately and is not represented as complete until it appears in the U.S. Copyright Office directory.
8. Availability, disclaimers, and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or any particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueDraft disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
9. Ending use and changes
You may stop using the Service and delete your account in the app at any time. We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product reasons. Material changes will be presented in the Service before they apply where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only where allowed by law.
